Mr. Rupam Gayen

Mr. Rupam has completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Madras (2020-2022).

Education:

B.Sc.(Honours): 2017-2020, St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Research interests:

Theoretical investigation of kinetics of chlorine monoxide radicals with organic esters of atmospheric interest using high level computational methods.

He has received a Ph.D. offer at Friedrich–Alexander University (FAU), Erlangen–Nürnberg, Germany, with Prof. Ana-Suncana Smith.

Dr. Veerabhadrarao Kaliginedi

Kinetics of OH Radical Reaction with CH3OCH2F(HFE-161) in the temperature range of 200-400K.

Past Affiliation: He is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Supramolecular Nanomaterials and interfaces Laboratory (SUNMIL), MXH 130 (Bâtiment MXH), Institute of Materials (IMX), Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.

Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Inorganic and Physical Chemistry (IPC) departmnt of Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Mr. Anand Kumar Yadav

Mr. Anand has pursued his MSc from IIT Madras. He is currently working as a teacher in a reputed coaching centre at Delhi giving guidance for competitive exams. .

He completed his BSc in Chemistry Honors from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi in 2016.

Research Interest:

Experimental investigation of VOCs with Cl atoms.

Mr. Shankupar Rynjah

Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Nongstoin College, West Khasi District, Meghalaya..

Mr. Satya Prakash Joshi

Mr. Joshi pursued M.Sc. from IIT Madras. .

B.Sc. : Rajadhani College, Delhi University.

Research interests:

Kinetics of Thermal decomposition of Bio-fuels and fuel additives at higher temperatures by using Single Pulse Shock Tube (SPST) technique.

Presently, he is working as a PhD Research Scholar in the Department of Chemistry, University of Helsinki, Finland, under the supervision of Prof Arkke J. Eskola.

He is currently at Scintist C position in Hydrological Processes (HyP), National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Earth System Science Organisation under the Ministry of Earth Scinces, Government of India.

Research interests:

Measuring the accurate kinetics for the gas-phase reactions of HFCs (Hydro Fluoro Carbons) and Hydro carbons with OH radical and Cl atoms using Pulsed Laser Photolysis (PLP)-Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF). Estimating the global warming potential (GWP) and ozone depletion potential (ODP), which are considered as indexing parameters to assess the impact of releasing compound on climate change.
