Ms. Nishtha Saxena

Ms. Nishtha did a Summer Research Internship in our lab from May-July, 2022 .

Research interests:

OH-initiated photo-oxidation reactions of tropospheric interest using experimental and theoretical methodologies.


She is a native of Lucknow, U.P. and did her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Amity University Lucknow Campus. She is currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai.

Ms. Nguyen Xuan Dieu Linh

Ms. Linh did a summer internship in our lab from July-August, 2019. .

Research interests:

Cl initiated photo-oxidation reactions of 2-Methyltetrahydrofuran in atmospheric condition : an experimental investigation.

She is a native of Hanoi, Vietnam and currently pursuing her BSc in Chemistry from Vietnam National University - University of Science (VNU-HUS).

She was awarded with the GRIESHMA (Global Research Internship for Engineering Science Humanities and Management) Scholarship, an initiative by IIT Madras.

Ms. Fathima Shifana A. R.

Ms. Fathima did a summer internship in our lab from May-July, 2019. . .

Research interest :

Photo-oxidation reaction kinetics of 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro isopropyl methacrylate with OH radicals: an experimental investigation.

She did her BSc from Farook College, Calicut.

She is currently pursuing her MSc from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut.

Ms. Nalini Ramya R M

Ms. Nalini did a summer internship in our lab from May-July, 2019.

Research interests:

Gas phase photo-oxidation reaction of 1,1,1,3,3,3- hexafluoro isopropyl methacrylate with Cl atoms: an experimental study.

She did her BSc from Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Port Blair.

She is currently pursuing her MSc from Women's Christian Collge, Chennai.

Ms. Shruti Moorthy

Ms. Shruti did a summer internship in our lab from May-July, 2018. .

Research interests:

Kinetic investigation of reaction of OH and Cl atom with fluoroethers.

She did her BSc from Ruia College, Mumbai University.

She is currently pursuing MSc from Mumbai University and doing her research internship at IIT Bombay.

Mr. Hari Prasad D. Alwe

Hari Prasad visited our in April,2013 from Radiation and Photochemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai, India. .

He learned DFT, ab initio calculations using Transition State Theory and Canonical Variational Transition State theory to compute the rate coefficients for gas phase reactions.

Current Afiliation: Hari Prasad is a Post-Doctrol Associate at University of Minnesota, USA.

Ms. Devatha Gayatri

Gayatri was a visitor (Aug-Dec,2014) from Department of Chemistry, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh .

She did relative rate experiments with Ramanjaneyulu on Gas phase kinetics of Chlorine atoms with a series of esters.
